About Us

WildGen was founded on the belief that rewilding and nature restoration are hopeful solutions to the current climate and nature crisis.

In a world facing biodiversity loss, climate change, growing eco-anxiety, and increasing disconnection from the natural world—especially in urban areas where access to green space is limited—WildGen exists to rebuild that connection while actively restoring the ecosystems that sustain us all.

Working in partnership with others, WildGen delivers multiple rewilding, habitat restoration, and nature art projects across different sites. Community involvement is central to everything we do. Across all of our project locations, we offer hands-on opportunities for people to take part in conservation, learn new skills, and reconnect with the natural world in meaningful ways.

Supporting young people is a core part of our mission. Through funded youth programmes, we ensure activities can be offered free to youth groups, removing financial barriers and making nature-based learning accessible to all. These programmes help young people build confidence, develop practical skills, and feel empowered to become environmental stewards and future leaders in this field.
